		<description>Good trick; sorry I didn&#039;t see this earlier.  Another one to keep in mind is Cmd+Opt+O+F  during startup.  It boots into Open Firmware mode.  Then type in &lt;i&gt;reset-nvram&lt;/i&gt; then &lt;i&gt;set-defaults&lt;/i&gt; and, finally, &lt;i&gt;reset-all&lt;/i&gt; to restart the computer.

That procedure will solve just about any hardware-related problem that isn&#039;t caused by an actual physical failure.</description>
