I love bouncing my ideas off two year olds. They (sometimes) listen intently; but most importantly they agree with everything if you say it with the right intonation.

As I was resting my feet on the coffee table, our 2yr old, Mary, came and laid up on my legs and said in a content voice “nice…daddy”. Made my morning :)

So my 7 year old said tonight:
{insert other 7yr old boy’s name here} told me he wanted a monkey, but that he wanted me to have one even more. That’s how he became my boyfriend.
I just wish I knew that when I was 7, I was making it much more difficult than it had to be!
