If you’re looking for a bit of inspiration read my wife’s post about what’s happened with our daughter, Emma, over the past week.  She was really sick.  Hundreds, if not thousands, of prayers were offered on her behalf.

Prayers are always answered, sometimes with a “yes”, often with a “no”.  During this difficult time I was constantly reminded that even Christ’s prayer was answered by a “no”.  My will had to change.  My prayers had to change.  I began to pray for “…not my will be done, but thine”.  Only during that time did I find any peace.

I knew that even if she didn’t make it, that I’d be with her again someday; but I’m damn glad she’s still with us.
