Definitely something I’m trying to do. I know our whole life has changed since we began focusing on the smaller moments in life, and trying to give our children moments that matter the most. God’s definitely blessed our family.

Took a few hours this afternoon to de-stress with the family by hiking and bidding adéu to Ann’s favorite spot in the whole world.

Mmmm, warm buttermilk pancakes with a touch of cinnamon, snow outside, hot cocoa, and listening to Michael Bublé’s Christmas album. I don’t care that it’s a week before Halloween, it’s Christmasy delightful! Thanks Ann!

As I was resting my feet on the coffee table, our 2yr old, Mary, came and laid up on my legs and said in a content voice “nice…daddy”. Made my morning :)
